Hertz Free Day Vouchers

  • Must be used with CDP# printed on voucher (Which usually doesn't waive underage fee), Big YMMV.
  • You can use multiple voucher on a rental up to a max of 7 vouchers.
  • Some Blackout dates apply (Dec 25, July 4th etc)
  • You must still pay fees that apply, e.g. Airport fees or fed......fee.., taxes go by dollar amount, so because dollar amount would be only from fees, it would be very little, beware on the reservation page it will show the projected estimate to be higher
  • Can not be combined with any other PC#
  • Only give in the vouchers at the return and make sure they only credit it at the return, just in case there's an accident you want the CC to consider it as a paid rental. (anyone with a clearer and more concise way of writing that please feel free..)
  • its subject to black out dates which are discretionary!

That is not the market price. What is considered market price? Ebay? Past sales on ddf? Craigslist? They are all hovering by 30-35 max. ( we may have a different definition of plenty). also putting down people who choose not to price rape individuals doesn't put you in a good light

Everybody selling in the $30 range are trying to get them off their hands as they are close to expiring!!
Plus, i dont know if u read but  it states pretty clearly that officially $40 and offers will be taken. FYI i dont think i have sold any for more than $36 but now i think u have given me the inspiration to try and get more.

I'd like to voice my opinion here, take it for what you will.

I've sold over 300 of these in the past year to people on DDF and other places, expiration was usually 9-12 months out.

The regular sale price for these has always been $35 when buying just a few vouchers, that's a number from way before my times (when they were even simpler to use). Nowadays with restrictions being added (getting asked for ID, harder to combine with USAA etc.), the price should be going down, not up.

I lowered my "regular" price to $33 for a while to give myself and edge. Asking for $40 starting price is taking advantage of people, or as Emkay says "price rape".
I averaged going down to $30 per piece when buying over 10 vouchers.. Usually even $1 less for 20+.

$30 (or less) is a good starting price for vouchers set to expire within a month.

Or just because every person wants to feel like he is getting the best deal, and wtvr the posted is will try to bargain ,so if i start at 40 hopefully ill get the price i am aiming for, after all the back and forth.
Come to think of it, some people are so ridiculous that i got an offer for 7 and he was only willing to pay 200 ,so i hope if i start at a normal price,hopefully i will walk away with a decent price at the end of the day.
