Hertz Free Day Vouchers

  • Must be used with CDP# printed on voucher (Which usually doesn't waive underage fee), Big YMMV.
  • You can use multiple voucher on a rental up to a max of 7 vouchers.
  • Some Blackout dates apply (Dec 25, July 4th etc)
  • You must still pay fees that apply, e.g. Airport fees or fed......fee.., taxes go by dollar amount, so because dollar amount would be only from fees, it would be very little, beware on the reservation page it will show the projected estimate to be higher
  • Can not be combined with any other PC#
  • Only give in the vouchers at the return and make sure they only credit it at the return, just in case there's an accident you want the CC to consider it as a paid rental. (anyone with a clearer and more concise way of writing that please feel free..)
  • its subject to black out dates which are discretionary!

For some reason they didn't apply the vouchers at all, the contract didn't even include them (though it's possible that was because it was presidents day weekend) and all the employees over there were sticklers e.g. they tried for over 40 min to manually overide the system to charge for an au even though it was under usaa.

If you end up in accident just put the rental on your card and don't use the vouchers.

So here's a question... I never actually add the CDP when i make my reservations. I have never had an issue with CDP's (I also am over 25). I leave it blank and just put in the PC for the amount of certs I am going to use. If I go to LAX, but haven't entered in the CDP which is on the cert, are you saying I will have an issue?
