To post an actual hack I did.
In the last minute, I made a pair of hidden city tickets for someone to come from LA to NY and back again.
It was half the price he would have paid and I looked like a travel expert.

Got a free flight because I was bumped.  Then got a voucher for another free flight because they made a mistake on that flight.  Then got a voucher for another free flight because they made a mistake on that flight.  Then got a voucher for another free flight because they made a mistake on that flight.  And that's how I kept flying the same airline I hated again and again.

Fair enough.

Being that people don't explain it, I may be entirely wrong about my assumption.
As the famous saying goes assuming makes an... :)

That time when I flashed my global entry card at an airport worker in KBP and he took me from the check in area almost to my gate...Skipping all the long lines.
Best use of an expired global entry card.
@Saver2000 can back this up  ;)

I've asked many people on the forums and no one has given any sort of answer.  Seems to be more of an inside joke than an actual thing.
here you go
What you do is order two vente Americanos. One, you throw in the barrista's face while it is scalding, and the other you grab and run out the door with.
now just apply that to the ups guy, cash on delivery for 2 fridges...

But it's tough to throw a regular sized fridge, make sure to get a smaller one.

Maybe because the more people that know about it, the faster it'll die.

Now mods please delete.

An actual travel hack - back when I had a jail broken iPhone, I also had an app that allowed me to manipulate the backend of any app. I had fake Delta, American, and JetBlue status. Never had the guts to use it but my brother used the JetBlue and Delta status to skip lines and IIRC used it to get into a lounge.

I had a JetBlue direct flight canceled. They automatically rebooked me with a stopover in Boston. I switched my flight to a later flight with a stop in Florida. And when I landed in Florida I convinced them to let me stay the weekend in Florida. ( flight was Thursday night, instead of continuing to my final destination I took a Saturday night flight)

let's please differentiate between clearly unethical/stealing (using fake status to go into lounge aka stealing food), faking spraining angle to get a better seat (unethical/stealing) and 'travel hack'.
