Don't make a petition site if you don't want to answer hard questions.
Imagine how much good will Obama could have generated with a more respectful answer.
As far as Pollard, I've always felt there must be something much deeper going on that nobody wants to talk about. The way his camp reacted to the Pollard petition only served to support that view.
Apparently, this wasn't the only petition to get a no comment response.
While its downright wrong what they're doing I think they'll still come out ahead with this website.
Only the people who signed these petitions and a small circle know about the no comment response, while many more know of this "amazing initiative of the Obama admin to petition to the White House directly".
So unless this farce gets serious mainstream media coverage, it remains good publicity.
