Lost luggage
« on: April 20, 2022, 12:11:14 PM »
Hi, I flew from JFK to Milan on April 13 using Emirates airline. They lost my luggage and it’s now 7 days later. I want to file a claim with both the airlines and the credit card however, they are asking for receipts for all the items in my luggage and I no longer have the receipts for most of those items. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what did you do? I can only file the claim once and I want to make sure I do it correctly. Thank you in advance

I was able to submit credit card statements in lieu of itemized receipts.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

im confused at the whole itemized receipts thing. I literally just went through the same as OP except with turkish and it’s 2 weeks. Are they asking for items that were lost or items that I bought because I have no clothes? What do I get reimbursed for?
nothings impossible- the word itself says Im possible
