However, the Nazis, as well as the Crusaders before them, took advantage of ignorance, and with populistic messages made the Jews the scapegoats for problems that had nothing whatsoever to do with the Jews.

Where do you take that from? His references to Simon of Trent seem to indicate that he actually believes the blood libel was true.

And as far as ignorance breeding hate. It's not the REASON for it, as I have quoted above "הלכה בידוע שעשו שונא ליעקב", but it definitely serves as a fertile breeding ground for hate.

You could have said that about anyone of his heroes. Being "well educated, articulate (does resorting to the kind of language he uses make him articulate? E.G.) and smart" doesn't negate the fact that he's ignorant. His hate allows him to accept his ignorance because the second he will become knowledgable and apply some analytical intelligent thinking to the facts that he might learn, he will be faced with cognitive dissonance (assuming that he is indeed intelligent) that will force him to abandon his hate. He's a 19 year old "invincible" and not interested in the facts or in reasonable analysis and critical thinking.

Go back to the TED talk by Daryl Davis and see what some education and intellectual analysis can do to the greatest bigots and haters.
