Can't seem to remember where, but I vaguely remember reading about changes coming, and it not being a big deal. Could be thinking of something else though.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

I got that in an email. Very strange that they're not saying what the changes will be. Doesn't sound very promising...

Bad timing just a few weeks after chase started giving a bonus. Time to start burning those avios.

I wonder if they will go to 12.5K per leg for US domestic awards like the rest of the market. They could also add in additional fuel surcharges and close in fees.

Don’t worry if you have an existing Avios booking with one of these airlines. It’s still valid and you can make changes or cancel it if you need to*. Our new Avios prices will apply to any changes or new bookings you make after 30 May 2019.

So until after May 30, it will still show the existing pricing.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I hope not.
That would be the end of BA.

If he's right that's not that terrible.
Sure is.
Just a few yrs ago it was from 4500 to 7500 and now to 9000 that's double from what it was and over time it will be creeping up and up which is not good.
As is award avlbty stinks, and flights to Europe are killed with YQ.
If only they do it for the better. Or a nechtigen toog?!

Anyone else try calling BA to verify?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
