NY-Florida: free one way rental
« on: September 25, 2011, 10:49:08 AM »
As several car rental companies offering now super low rates for one way rentals from the NY-Metro area to Florida, I am trying to benefit somehow…

So I wanna take a car for about 3 weeks at a NY airport location and have it returned by someone who is traveling to Florida.

I will pay the total cost of the rental, but looking for someone who will drive out to Florida after, or in middle of Sukkahs. Should be 25 or+.

Trying my luck…

If I'm not mistaken, all of the offers are for a maximum of a week.
Otherwise, seems like a great idea...

That wudnt make sense.... even if its $5 a day + fees... prob comes out to more than $200 month
Which is the price of a lease for camry accord ect.

Right, but there's one other rental company who doesn't have the week-max. limit. (ask me in private if interested.)

Are you willing to pay for the flight back? Why does he have to be 25?

If its more than week ido they charge reg rate just for extra day or wont allow offer altogether?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.
