Is there anyway to know which Avis locations charge taxes & fees? I'm looking at a 5 day rental in August at MDW. The taxes & fees on a paid rental are an exorbitant $211.

Anyone else that previously purchased wyndham points get emails confirming their purchase today? I got emails to both mine and my wife's accounts confirming a purchase of 15k wyndham points. Seems it is a glitch since I checked the cards referenced and don't see any pending charges and also do not see 15k points in my Wyndham accounts. Any similar experiences?
