A settlement has been reached with Utz Quality Foods, LLC (“Utz”) in a class action lawsuit that alleges that Utz, through a nationwide advertising campaign, sold certain of its products by advertising that they were “All Natural.” The lawsuit alleges that the products are not “All Natural” in that they contain ingredients that are chemically derived, heavily processed, synthetic, artificial, and/or ingredients containing or derived from Genetically Modified Organisms. Utz denies the lawsuit’s allegations. The Court has not decided who is right. Instead, the parties have agreed to a settlement (the “Settlement”).
