Switzerland Questions
« on: May 05, 2019, 03:49:26 PM »
Dear DD forum members. We will be in Switzerland for two days/three nights.

First night in Zurich - What are the two best places to walk aorund town late at night?

We will be in Lucerne from about 11:30am and lodge there. Best things to do if you have one afternoon and evening in Lucerne?

We will be in Wengen from mid or late morning until like 10:30 pm. Best things to do if you have one afternoon, evening and part of a night in Wengen/ Lauterbrunnen?

On the third day, we need to be in Milan by midday. So thinking of leaving Wengen and getting a hotel near the Interlaken ost train station (about 15-20 minutes from Wegmen). We can then take a train to Milan with one connection at a 15 minute stop. Has anybody been to Interlaken? Any comments?

Thank you so much, Y

Wrong thread.

Why travel and stop so much? I would go to sleep early in Zurich. Wake up early next day and travel to Wengen. Spend maximum time there.

Ya, I never went, but looked into it. Seems like you're trying to do too much in too short a time period.

Can definitely take train up ulitberg and walk around main area and old city. Zurich is a very small city. I saw a great amount of it during a 12 hour stop over.

There is a new Hyatt in the airport and a very nice Marriott (also new) very close to the airport. Kameha Grand Zurich.
