Looiking at the site the oldest iPhone they accept is the 6. I have a 6 that is locked to Total Wireless. Will they accept that?

I spoke to a Google rep. and they said that "unlock" in this context does not mean that it can't be limited to a specific carrier.

It's unclear to me is whether you need to start service on the device to be eligible for the $100 Google store and trade-in offers. Anyone have info on that?

I chatted today, and while I didn't receive an email, I did receive the credit. 
Click on Account, then Settings, and it's there under Google Store Balance.
