Chrome stinks at predicting what webpage you want to go to.  Firefox is just miles ahead in that regard.
But Chrome is much faster in general.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I like using Chrome, but when something doesn't work well,
I open  Firefox and everything works fine.
Live forever or die trying.

Chrome kills battery. If your on a laptop makes a big difference.

And Firefox kills memory (open tabs), IE kills functionality (<10)

Chrome is not the fast, lean browser it once was. It's still ahead of the others, but the gap is closing between chrome and firefox.

IME Chrome uses much more memory than FF.

Chrome uses a seperate process for each tab you have open, and every process has it's own ram usage associated with it. Firefox on the other hand doesn't, but the browser itself uses more memory. IOW, if you have many tabs open chrome uses more, but if you only have a couple of tabs open, firefox uses more (at least IME).

IME, Chrome with a few tabs uses the same memory as FF with 75.

I always use FF but it still has pretty bad memory leaks, I think it's better than it used to be be not the way it should be
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

NOTE: There are countless threads about the pros/cons of the different browsers, I figured this was the best one to bump.

After using chrome for about a decade I finally downloaded firefox today and I was blown away literally!

Like everyone else, I ditched ff years ago because it would explode and crash your whole system. It seems now that chrome and ff have reversed places. Chrome is an absolute memory hog and so far ff is performing wonderfully. I always attributed the speed of chrome (or lack thereof) to the poor specs of my computer but now I see I was wrong, ff is flying and kicking dust in chromes face, rightfully so!

If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.
