Mortgage/Rent on Credit Application
« on: May 08, 2019, 06:36:29 PM »
Hi - when applying for a credit card they ask if you pay rent/mortgage. Is it better to put something there or leave it blank (write 0)?

What are the pros and cons?
Thanks!

The truth?

I am asking in regards to getting credit. I understand the truth

I know many people who put zero because apparently they are more likely to get approved and get a higher credit limit.

For the same results just say you earn an extra $50k.
