A malfunctioning helicopter will not glide like a plane but will just drop.
That's actually somewhat of a misconception. Pilots have a way of countering the drop.SmarterEveryDay did a video on this.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BTqu9iMiPIU(Explanation starts somewhere around 3:00)
American Express Sending Some Platinum Cardholders $295 BLADE Giftcardhttps://www.doctorofcredit.com/american-express-sending-platinum-cardholders-250-blade-giftcard/
I got one of those from a friend, code only with none of the T&Cs. So far I have been unable to get the code working for any of Blade's services whatsoever.
Rides between Manhattan and NYC airports are now $120 with promo code AIRSOCIAL, I also saw a code for another $50 off (total of only $70!) but I think it's a referral, maybe @Dan can post one.
If anyone gets this and can post the T&C, I'd appreciate it.
I once got similar from Amex. IIRC, there was a minimum spend, as well as a requirement of using an Amex.
Uber is sometimes more
Tried spending a couple $k + amex, no go.
Though without a 25 pound limitation.

BLADE JFK – One carry-on per person is allowed, 25 lbs maximum
Might have required new user, too.
Is it possible to take a blade from airport to airport, officially?
They fly to each airport from a different location so how would that work exactly?
