Is the BF pricing for Nomatic as good as it gets?
Many times there are better sales at other times of the year, I am not familiar with Nomatic though.
Coupled with freedom and Paypal checkout for 5% and any other cashback you may get - it's pretty up there! For what its worth a quick search didn't show anything lower since last December.
Send me the 35% off code and I'll LYK
I ordered - and have a trip to Israel coming up - so will be able to review it very soon.
I was looking at other high end bags - like this:
https://www.sfbags.com/collections/laptop-backpacks/products/pro-executive-laptop-backpackand some other serious ones - but while they all had some pro's they all seemed to lack the intuitive design of nomatic. (and none had the kind of sale nomatic is having.)
Ever since i replaced my 10yr old trusty SwissGear indestructable bag which eventually started fraying.

I should add - that my backpack strategy is broken into 2 - which helps dictate what i need in a bag.
I don't use a PC - only a laptop - and so i lug my laptop to and from work.
So i have a backpack for day to day - and a backpack specifically for travel.

I recently used my Amex Business card to replace my everyday backpack and took advantage of my Dell.com credit to get this one:
https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-ecoloop-premier-slim-backpack-14-16/apd/460-bdwy/laptop-bags-and-cases It just arrived, so I haven't had a chance to review it yet, but the online reviews are positive.
Next week, I have a red-eye flight from LAX to MCO for a drone conference, and I'll be returning the same day. This will give me the opportunity to stress test it for an ultra-light, one-day journey.
If you attend a lot of conferences and work on the go—even during quick one-day overnights—and need to carry your bag with you throughout the day, having a really comfortable and lightweight backpack is critical. Since this was essentially risk-free courtesy of Dell/Amex, I'll see if it's practical enough and report back.
(they do make a slightly bigger one - but i am hopeful the smaller will suffice and be less painful due to smaller size for daily use)
But lugging a full size backpack on a short trip like that would be an actual pain.
