Looking for monitor advice
« on: May 14, 2020, 09:29:22 AM »
Looking to use up my $200 Dell credit. I can either get a free 24" FHD monitor, a 27" for $50, or a 27" LED for free.

Not a power user in any way; I am really just fine with my 15.6" Lenovo laptop, but I'll always take a free/dirt cheap monitor.

(Will go for the fancy mouse and keyboard in July IYH).

Thoughts?

A: Free > cheap  ;D

B: 27” feels very big, especially if you’re used to laptop screens or 20” monitors.

I'd go for the "27 if you have a normal (not crammed) office desk. The bigger a screen is the easier to work on it (coming from someone that works half day on a Surface Pro "12.3 screen and half day on a "28 screen...)

Unless you're going to end up with two, then I'd go with around 22-24"

Not my annual fee. A relative’s card.

Think 27” FHD is gonna be it.

That would wind up a lot more than $50.
