I was asking whether he talks about being near water.I think the benefits of sunlight are probably among the most researched/documented of the factors discussed (for overall health, if not longevity), but it's not a very good indicator of why the blue zones are special. They're not particularly remarkable in their levels of annual sunshine. Obviously it's meant to be just one of several factors, but that makes the benefits of each one more vague.
I doubt whether the amount of annual sunshine is as important as how much time is spent in the sun based on lifestyle.
