Lol what kind of car are you looking for?
Standard 4 Door sedan. It seems the best deals on there are EVs or Hybrids where the Incentives are much higher for Electric Vehicles to bring down the MSRP. But isn't really feasible with living in Brooklyn

Right. And then you should be able to duplicate that. Most of the deals are through negotiations with the dealer. But you can do what I did and have your local leasing guy do that negotiating for you once you know what's possible.
i didn’t realize how much leverage they have. My local agent ended up getting me my car for no money down and lower monthly payments than originally quoted...

Leverage? They up sell the car and then give you a lower price for whatever reason they make up

he snipped off the down payment and I’m paying less than most people for my car. I’m sure they do upsell it otherwise they wouldn’t have a job but they have relationships with the dealers

Do you mind sharing the details of your car?

True they can convince the dealer some times...

It's definitely leverage. They usually make the same $x regardless. But there isn't a dealer in the world who doesn't want to keep a client that buys potentially dozens of vehicles a month

interested in any X1 lease deals anyone has recently gotten. Based on Leasehackr seems like you can potentially do well with the loaners

I feel like I'm missing one part. I understand the breakdown and how its done but how does one go about and find a "Unicorn Deal" in the first place? Do you call up every dealer on the East Coast asking if any Loaners are still left on the lot? lol. How else does one locate a car like that?

I ended up getting a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Base Model Plug In off there. Great site. Must be a NYS Resident to be eligible for all rebates.
Ended up paying around 135/M. 36/12k.  0 DAS except first month. Everything rolled in

Nice. Including all fees? I only saw $159 for NYS residents. For NJ it's more because of no $1,000 rebate, right?

Correct. It's a NYS $1100 Clean Rebate
