Google Text Parenthases

I have been using Google text for a while to get phone numbers. Not so long ago they added parenhases to area code in text. As a result I cant call diresctly from text. Any ideas how to change that? I tried finding way to contact google but seems impossible!

If you have a smartphone, use google maps.

You can text 466453 for phone numbers stock quotes weather and some other stuff.

I have google maps on my phone even though it's not a smartphone but I can only get business listings.

Forward the text to yourself and delete the parentheses before sending.

Sending to self is a pain in the neck and  for same price you can dial number without area code and then prepend it's just a strange to me that google didn't chap that it's better without parentheses
