Hi,

I am sorry to sound so ignorant but why is Qantas so good? Especially when flying to Israel?

Thanks

Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

So if I am heavily invested into the Chase Ultimate Rewards ecosystem there is not really a benefit for me here.

Unless there is and I am missing something? @Dan

correct but if u have a chance start earning Citi Thank You (transfer 1:1) or capital one (transfers a bit less) - ElAl via qantas still has some alot of direct J class (business) redemption even on new dreamliner with direct aisle seats availability so its a pretty good way to get to Israel + very good kosher food in lounges on plane etc.

as opposed to United availability which is nonexistent and delta which is impossible to book unless you want to spend so many points (400-600k) you could sell it for more than the value of buying the ticket outright for $4000.
