Yes,which meant she had all of a few hours to do the interviews and on to the next game.
Why do you assume that interviews happened then? The media didn't even know about James when the show was taped.

James talks about his bet. It's a little simplified as he describes his bet as a straight bet that Emma would get it wrong, which isn't exactly true.

“So my only concern was getting overtaken by third place, and I bet just enough to make sure of locking him out,” Holzhauer told The Action Network.

Yes. He takes it as a given that Emma bets the maximum and moves on. He doesn't explain why he assumed that.

Nothing is a given to him (professional gambler).
This might help you: “Betting big would have looked good for the cameras, but [by doing so] now I turn my straight bet — Emma misses — into a parlay: Emma misses and I get it right,” said Holzhauer.

It's still a parlay. He's now betting on her missing and her wager being sufficiently large.

I would guess that 99% of the ppl would bet the amount that guarantees a victory if they get the answer right.

Last night Emma made a big bet, to which Alex said something along the lines of "playing like James, I see", to which she just shrugged and looked not pleased with the comparison.

It's funny to follow how games right now are playing out because we all know James now, but the competitors won't for the next few weeks.

Also, James' twitter page is A+ content.

James and Emma to appear in the tournament (but not against each other in the first round).
