Happened just last week. They gave no reason when I called them up and I had a lot of activity on all of them. My questions is if anyone have had any luck getting reopened their cards?
Do you pay your cards with 3rd party checks?
Revolving credit?

Never with 3rd party checks but yes from a business account to my personal credit card.

My question wasn't why they shut me down, my question was if anyone has had any luck with reinstating an account with chase or not? I tried searching for answers in this thread but couldn't find.

I had luck with them.
Oh ok thanks for sharing. Would you share your story? Which department helped you? Over the phone or in the branch?
(I don't know why they shut me down but I assume because of large spending. My checking and savings accounts are so far still open).

You should get a letter in the mail with the reasons for being shut down. Sometimes some of them are vague, but they gave me solid reasons such as revolving credit and I focused my complaints to the CFPB with those. Sent a detailed explanation on how chase was wrong to assume things and explained what happened (in my case a merchant charged for items and then refunded it many times ((as I ordered many of the same item)) instead of dropping the pending charge). Shortly after I got a letter from chase apologising for shutting me down, and sent me new cards of all my cards.

I don't know why, but it was a reason they gave so clearly they care.

I don't see why a business card would be different.

I get it, personally I wouldn't go to CFPB as they're government, but I'll try again calling the bank again...

Appreciate your help!
(Do you know of anyone successful by just reaching out to chase without CFPB?)

Is it okay to transfer a chase card balance to a Citi card (0% APR), when the Citi card is in my mothers name? (Same last name)

Is this like paying with a 3rd party check?

I believe chase wouldn't know who the cardholder is. they just get a check/wire from Citi with your account number in the memo

I got the letter. The reason is because rewards misuse. Anyone knows if I can be successful opening it back open?

What did you actually do? Is there no other reason?

I sold it to one of those guys buying points. They mentioned only this reason. (I know they had a crack down last week for these type of issues).

DW just got shut down. Doesn't hurt too bad bc all she had was a sapphire preferred and a world of hyatt. Seems like her UR balance is still intact (for now).

I'll wait to see what the letter says but only trigger I can think of is cycling ~$80k on a $20k CL to hit globalist last Nov. Other than that her cards get pretty minimal use.

Shocked that they didn't come after my sapphire reserve, 5 freedoms, or 2 inks. At least not yet.
Risk is opportunity

DW was just closed down after applying for a new CF.
Had a Marriott Bonvoy Bold and a CIP (with ~200k UR), both over a year old.
Has one other card at a credit union, and no recent inquires.
No rewards misuse, in general very low use on the CIP and no use recently on the Bonvoy card.
Did have 5 air tickets (~3000$) bought on the CIP that were eventually refunded, but hey, it's COVID19...

Reasons given were:
NOT ENOUGH CREDIT INFORMATION ON FILE
THIS ACCOUNT AND/OR A RELATED ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED AT THE BANK'S REQUEST

Any chance for her to be reinstated? She won't be keen on calling in, so I'm thinking just biting the bullet and transferring the points out within 30 days.
Will I be able to get her other Chase cards in the future? What's the cooldown period?

EDIT: Am I able to transfer her points to my account (a Chase Freedom) even though I am not an authorized user on any of her cards (we share the same address)? Or is that guaranteed to get me shut down too?
