You should get a letter in the mail with the reasons for being shut down. Sometimes some of them are vague, but they gave me solid reasons such as revolving credit and I focused my complaints to the CFPB with those. Sent a detailed explanation on how chase was wrong to assume things and explained what happened (in my case a merchant charged for items and then refunded it many times ((as I ordered many of the same item)) instead of dropping the pending charge). If I was able to transfer it to a consumer card I'd feel more comfortable, but as the points are all sitting on the CIP card, IINM I need to be a co-owner of the "business" to be able to have the points transferred to me (according to the TOS). But it's true, I am worried that just transferring straight over would get me shut down as well...

It's been 2-3 years since 6 of us at the same address got shut down with a total of about 20-25 cards total.
Checking accounts never affected.
We keep applying every few months, and every time (after clearing other issues) they always come back to those closures from then.
My mother at that address got a approved for sapphire a year ago (she was never shut down because she didn't have any chase cards)
Just spoke to chase executive office, they don't sound too hopeful but will see $:-\$

Just received my fifth shutdown. I now have no Chase accounts.

Each shutdown was a little different.

I am not done by no means.
Next course of action is apply, hopefully get approved, do spend on first day before card is shutdown.

Many that are banned get approved and sometimes the card lasts a day or two. Sometimes it is closed before you even get it.
Why not try?

I am banned from Chase and Amex. Chase has been over 3 years and Amex a year and a half. I have tried numerous time to apply with no luck. Am I banned forever? Any feedback would be appreicated.

depends what you got banned for do you know why you got banned?

Interesting that you keep getting approved again and all 6 of us keep getting denied. Unless the address is the issue (although my mother got approved כנ״ל ) and maybe I should try applying at a different address.

What exactly was reward abuse May I ask? Transferring to too many spouses?

the Chase card was closed 3 years ago when ppl who has recently applied/received for the Marriott Bonvoy card were scrutinized/shut down. Amex was they said some of the charges i received rewards for againsy their terms and conditions.
