Part of that is that if indeed there was a fully legitimate and official secondary market for loyalty point, the associated profits that come from selling them in the first place will go up in smoke.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

+1 and at an even more basic level the idiotic article didn’t even explain how a transaction would actually work or give one specific example of how you could use the platform. Maybe this author lady is Trump’s “whistleblower”  :P
