It's been this way for a bit, not sure if it's imposed.

Still seeing 24 month language on applications, but could be they're just getting to all the links.

Still not a problem with Citi mailers bypassing language, but if those stop, then getting AA miles becomes a lot harder, especially with Barclay not approving most people above 6/24.
