Has anyone ever flown them?  They seem to be a low-cost airline that fly via Istanbul?

Why not??? They have recently stopped the policy of shooting every jew who connects in their airport.

Wow!! I didn't know they stopped.
Now they give us all guilt trips for the Mavi Marmara incident, which is even worse than death for us Jews.

But do they still relieve you of your clothes when they feel like it

Thanx all - probably not comfortable sending a 19 yr old girl traveling alone.

IME (recent) while the airport was definitely a bit of a 'Balagan' -- I found no safety issues whatsoever, didn't feel uncomfortable at all.  If you are stopping there on the way to TLV or elsewhere, you should have absolutely no problem.  Just make sure you leave at least 2 1/2 or 3 hours for your connection -- because you can't rely on your outbound flight being on time, and it takes a bit of time to transfer between planes in the airport (a bit more on the way to the US than Israel believe it or not, as you have an additional security screening where they have to check your name against the TSA no fly list).
