I want to add definetly don't skip the peak2peak. It's bloody expensive, but worth it IMO. Get the glass bottom cars they are really cool. Oh and if you have the time and the money I would highly recommend a seaplane flight that tours around  Vancouver and the harbor. It's amazing.
Whoa! You weren't kidding! Just checked on whistler sight, tickets are $55 per adult!

Yup my family of four cost well over $100 (I think youngest was free). IMO definitely worth it. Keep in mind that things close pretty early even in the summer, like 4:30/5:00 and it takes about a half an hour to get up the mountain to the peak2peak. The big waterfall on the way up is a must see as well. There are also small little ones along the way, sometimes with a short hike to get to them...

If you can afford it, definitely go for it IIRC it was abou $180 a person for the 45 min tour.

Headed to Whistler tomorrow. We wanted to do the Peak2Peak and i saw there are options online for packages with other activities in the area. Anything else there worthwhile? What else must we do? Staying in the Westin for 2 days. Also, has anyone been to the vodka ice bar? Any way to get in for cheap? ::) TIA

We liked the Westin. Upgraded us to a nice bi-level suite. Can't answer your question though.

I'm thinking about doing a combo of Vancouver & whistler for 7 - 10 days in the summer with 3 smaller kids, is a week in whistler to much time?
(I've enjoyably done Mont Tremblant for the same amount of time)

Westin was nice. I was there years ago, though I wasn't at the other places you listed.

It's also the cheapest of the options at 13k UR with CSR (20k SPG). Just that all the above can be booked for <20k UR so I thought perhaps now was my chance to try a fancy non-points hotel.

Has anyone ever rented from Squamish Harbour Marine Adventures?
http://squamishharbour.ca/

Or any place in Whistler/Squamish area to recommend for renting motor boat (not rafting or kayaking, etc)?
