It's also good to be familiar with the hotels priceline has available in the area. For example if there is only one 3.5 in the area then you're essentially bidding on just that hotel. Also when your bid gets declined and you're made to expand the area sometimes adding another area won't affect you at all if you know that there isn't another 3.5 i n the added area.

There are some good priceline sites out there. Betterbidding, bidingfortravel and bidding traveler. They'll show winning bids, rebids zones etc..

Cuz I used many different CC's many times and never has a problem

I have tried entering the wrong pin other places (not priceline) and then it went thru

I wanna add a tip on this... With priceline once ur card is charged you can't cancel for a refund...

This has worked but I cant guarantee the success - Call the hotel and cancel from the hotel - they will tell you they cant refund you... cancel anyways. Then call priceline - and tell them you want a refund...

Go to betterbidding.com and type in the city on top. People post their experience for each city listing the zone, hotel, dates, and price. I have used priceline numerous times by doing research on betterbidding and have only been satisfied. If you put in some time you will know exactly how to get the hotel you want and what price you should be bidding. They list certain tricks as well like adding a zone for a 4star hotel when none exists.

On citi.com log on... there is a tab tools - there is the virtual card app... You gotta download it (its a pc based app)
