Instead of you filing the claim, and waiting for the cc to cover... The rental company files the claim ect.....

I understood what you meant, I just don't believe that in the 63 year history of the country of Israel, that has ever happened

A huge benefit of the world mastercard is that there is no deductible. In Israel if you are in an accident or even scratch the car there is a $1000 deductible (for renters under 25, and $500 for over $24)
A big deal because they usually ding you for a few hundred dollars for a tiny pre-existing scratch.

With the mastercard there is no deductible, and the rental company takes care of collecting the money from the mastercard - Thats one of the documents you sign  - - giving them permission to collect

(hence- its more worth it to total the car than fill it up with gas  ;))

I am in Israel right now picked up a car from Hertz using BOA MWC.
Don't know where you got our info from but THERE SURE IS A DEDUCTIBLE WITH THE MWC, ABOUT $460 worth! And the MWC SAVES YOUABOUT $10/day

MCW has no deductible.  The deductible you see is if you took out insurance from the agency.

Depends on which location ur renting and how often you rented , how well you know the people there

From my avis experience depends if you want the cheaper price or bigger car.
From my experience If i wanted the cheapest i would reserve the class a (manual) when u gone up to the counter they ask if you drive manual tell them no (i do  ;)) and they'll always give you a class b (automatic) and you are likely to get a upgrade in to c, or even d
