Wow, I forgot to do a merchant block on my daughter's card, she is an authorized user on my gold card, and there are $88.55 in pending Target charges.

Yes weird that the system is charging the cards now, when the items showed free at checkout.
Or are these charges being done by a human to make up for his errors he made while running his shift one week?

Not sure, but best would have been using a prepaid visa .

I got a few dollars extra charged to my CC. Will locking the CC (chase) prevent target to add additional charges?

I think a simple dispute would work, they would need a receipt to prove your purchase which they like cant bring

I just got an email that they "had to cancel some items from my order". The item was a gift card I already got.

I made 5 orders. I was supposed to be charged a total of $178.13 for everything including shipping. One $25 Target gift card was eventually cancelled. So the adjusted total is $153.13.
Target, with their interesting way of billing, broke this up into 21 charges below $2.00 each and 4 charges between $25 - $40.
The total I was charged was $148.13.

The orders were placed Jun 20 -23.
The large charges were on Jun 21 - 24. The smaller ones were all on July 2.

I was charged a little over, many of the pending charges never posted. I had more than enough delivered, that I never went to get the store pick up orders, they put them back to stock.
