I just got about 7 emails with tracking numbers for about 20 more bottles of oil I didnt order and says they charged my different amounts for under a dollar for each shipment. Anyone else get this?
Yes I see that now. Did you have the same thing? Did they actually charge your cc?
Got the same - i think it has to do with the fact that earlier even though the orders were actually delivered in their system they said there was an error with the shipment.
Yes had the same probably a issue on target's end sending out the emails late.
Amounts specified are correct however I wasn't charged anything yet on the orders I canceled the paid items, (Read up thread how I did it) but the free items shipped, supposedly I only have to pay a few dollars for delivery so far didn't get charged anything.
And I got the same thing here with 22 emails with random small penny amounts.
Please tell me no more free oil and flour, I'm swimming in the shipments I got.
I see 6 charges pending on my card totaling $15.55 These charges are pending, did not post yet.
I also received 3 free return labels for some items. No idea what is this all about.
2 charges for .99 and .75 that did post today
And 10 of those random penny amounts just posted on my account.
Seems it's there turn to get us back, they're nickel and diming us!
I received the missing target card today, and received emails with more shipments coming and more of the small charges, I just hope they do not ship me anything.
Step 1: Once all the small charges post, add them up and see if they add up to multiples of $5.99
Step 2: Go back to the other week on your statement and see if you were charged for shipping.
Target seems to have a really annoying way of charging cards for each shipment individually (makes sense), and they decide the shipping fee between all the items and charge the shipping fee for each item as a separate charge.
They actually have a very weird way of giving free shipping. They assign the shipping amount for each item and mark it as a discount, then they charge you that amount for shipping. So, let's say the shipping amount is $1.50,
For an item that goes for $29.99, the invoice says:
Item $29.99
Discount $1.50
Subtotal $27.49
Shipping $1.50
Total $29.99
For an item that's going for $0.00 the invoice will show:
Item $0.00
Discount $0.00
Subtotal $0.00
Shipping $1.50
Total $1.50
They won't discount 0.00 so even though technically your eligible for free shipping, in their system it won't work because of the way they do it and you'll be charged for shipping of the free part of the order.
