EL AL Seat Change

ElAL Flight from Newark to TLV.

EL AL changed my family's seats because they say the air craft changed (even though the seat layouts are identical on both aircrafts, 747-400)
My previous seats were confirmed.
We were previously sitting all together 3 seats together Aisle, middle, window.
Now we got moved to the center of the plane, aisle, middle, middle.

Do I have any recourse to make them switch me back?

Or can I push them issue us a voucher for each ticket, if so how much should I look for?

It happens often when not booked on elal.com (like QF). You need to WhatsApp them or call Israeli customer service (US office often charges $20 for seats

Once they assign seats, would i be able to change them at a later time on elal? I see only middle seats available at the moment.
