I hope that I am not in violation of the "Absolutely no buying/selling/trading of miles, points, or travel vouchers are allowed" rule. If I am, feel free to delete the post.

I am not looking to buy sell or trade these points in this forum, just seeking advice.

I have received a few offers for my AA Miles, the best being 0.015 (one and a half cents) per point. Personally, I think they are worth a lot more than that. Does anybody know the going rate these days?

That is the going rate between 1.4-1.5

I'd say you're getting a good deal, though if you redeem yourself you get a much better value (as high as 10cpm or more) using miles than paying cash for business/first tickets (especially international).

Having said that I'd advise you (specifically) absolutely not to sell your miles considering that you just made lifetime gold and are considering lifetime platinum. AA is notorious for shutting down accounts of suspected sellers at whim, and you'll be making a few thousand but risking your lifetime status.
