Amazing thread.. great job Dan!

I have the citi preferred (which has WORLD) and capital one ventureone (for no foreign fee).  Are there any cards that wave foreign fees AND take care of cdw (car rental insurance in israel, for example).
CapitalOne has a World card

Apparently you can request for a Sapphire Preferred card to be a World Mastercard that does cover CDW in Israel.
If anyone here tries that please post the results!

Someone said they did it in a comment I believe.
My first Sapphire Preferred card was a WMC a few years ago but now Visa is the default.

there might be a different problem of using the sapphire card in Israel - most rental companies still use the old imprint method so they need the numbers sticking out!

Dan, the ink bold also has primary CDW but only covers if vehicle was being rented for business purposes.

Any reason this is not being added to the OP?

Sure, it sounds burdensome to prove.

Burdensome to prove that it was rented for business purposes? If my business is a sp and I "sell stuff on ebay" do u think they will give me a hard time if ch"vsh i ever need to make use of it?

They may.  Do you really need to rent a car in HNL for your ebay business?

Lol. Good point.
I agree that it shouldn't be added to the OP bec wont realize the requirements but technically if someone has a legit business then its a great benefit.

Chase Continental OnePass Plus Mastercard (Free for one year, then $95/year)
: 1 free bag for cardholder and 1 traveling companion.

The CO website says you have to purchase the ticket on the CO CC. Anyone get the free bag when purchased on a different card?

Yup, the CO website is wrong.
Also agents can manually take off the baggage fee if you show them a card, so that works even for free bags for free secondary cardholders.

I can't find a way to sign up for that card.

It seems like this card has it:
http://www.capitalone.com/creditcards/cash-rewards-credit-card/?linkid=WWW_1010_CARD_TGUNS10_CCBRWALL_C3_03_T_CP04317EW

Can't find any other ones..

Just saw this in their disclaimer:

Where you are covered:
In general, coverage applies worldwide, but there are exceptions:
> You may be unable to receive benefits in Australia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, and New Zealand. Please contact your vehicle rental agency
before you travel.
> Coverage is not available where prohibited by law

This list is awesome but I think you should explain
"American Express Platinum Business Charge Card: $200 credit to spend every calendar year on the airline of your choice." more.

It only for incidentals not towards airline tickets,, i think some may be confused
