I have the CO AND UA card Nd am flying a CO award on Aegean Metal. Is my second bag free ?
wonder why I didn't see it mentioned before.Hilton hhonors surpass from amex gives x6 on groceries and x3 on everything else!isn't that better then the SPG ?how much do you guys value Hilton points, for ?
just saw this from dan, but he doesn't explain why everyday spending won't be a good idea, in that card.isn't 3/4 Hilton points worth more then 1.025 [spg value]?
Hilton is selling points today for .495 cents and they're generally worth less than half a cent.SPG sells points at the cheapest for 2.8 cents, though more realistically they're worth 2.2-2.3 cents or so.You do the math.
got it. still, on groceries, it should be the best. besides PRG [ or freedom, when in the x5 ppd]

So blue cash preferred is the best option for groceries for the rest of the year? I just hate that its fixed value and cant be transferred, but 6% is hard to argue with...Is there anything else that's close to 4-5% and has more transfer flexibility?
Freedom for third quarter, 5x.I believe it was also first quarter '12, too.
ink bold through visa gc's/amex prepaid
I think grocery is this current quarter on freedom. I was trying to ask about quarter 3 and 4, sorry for not being clear.
Yeah I have looked at that deal, but I'm not currently wanting to add another CC.... Guess I should have made that clear. So revising my question. If I have: Amex Blue Cash PreferredAmex SPGChase Freedom (w checking)Chase SPGeneric 2% (Fidelity)What is the best card to use for grocery purchases moving forward (July 1)?
There are other factors involved, such as how you value your miles. If I had to choose from those cards, I'd say for amounts less than $50* I'd use Freedom, and more than that I'd use SPG.*If you value UR at 1.7-1.8 the threshold goes up from $50 to more like $90-100.
How is that better than the 6% the BCP offers?
