If you're talking about the part where he discusses the possibility of america turning tyrannical, that IS the point of the 2dn amendment, I don't think anyone debates that.

And while we're fortunate that's not the situation now, it's certainly not a crazy concept. The problem with democracy is that the majority can vote to do awful things.
