Hello friends,

I discovered this forum recently and have gathered a ton of information from it. A week ago, I was an Emerald Club member and that was that, today I am top tier in all the major companies. Many of you know how to do this, but this post is for newbies.

Step 1. Sign up for free memberships with any car companies that you may wish to use in the future. They are completely free, do this first, especially Hertz. DON'T SKIP HERTZ!!!!

Step 2. Use this MasterCard link to become a President's Circle Member for free. Do not click on the "click here" to enroll button. Read the instructions for the login and CDP method. This worked for me.

Step 3. When you get your confirmation of the upgrade, screenshot or download your card. The rest is easy.

Step 4. Google the process to match status with the other companies, they vary from one to the other but in the last week I moved to Executive Elite with National, Platinum with Enterprise, Avis whatever, and even Sixt. It takes a few days for each to process. YMMV

For my first rental with Hertz, it said I needed to go to the counter and said I was not getting gold service. I made a call, spent a few minutes with the guy and he changed my car to skip the counter, gold service, ultimate choice president's circle. No counter. I rent with National and Enterprise so I know I won't have to check in, but the first time using Hertz, they apparently want to see you before your first rodeo. This is important to remember if you are using a code that you might not have your ID for on that initial rental.

I got it and don't even have the card, let alone live in those places. At any rate, I used that status to match to the others. If they come back and tell me this was not valid, I will just have them status match me from my shiny new Executive Elite Status at Enterprise. Once you get a few, it is an endless circle.
