On regular "Mail"...how do I get mail to be "pushed"? It only gets "fetched" (what does that even mean?) and it doesnt come so often.
What provider do you use?

Gmail stopped support of exchange so the only to get push is the gmail app.
And if you want to use the Mail app. Use the gmail app to  receive  push and set the Mail app to manual so once you see you got an email you can open it in the mail app

push means it comes right away like a text msg, fetch means it has to "go get it" which is y it doesn't come as often

Gmail and secureserver.

Ah, ok.  I dont like the Gmail app.  Have mailbox which pushes then I go check Mail.  But I dont see how I can add a "secureserver" email address to mailbox...?

I personally disliked the mailbox app because it archived all my emails

But you should try adding secureserver through exchange in the mail app

Got it.  What are the benefits of adding it there as opposed to "other"?

Gmail stopped any new iPhone users from connecting their Gmail through exchange. So when I got a new phone last week it didn't let me reconnect
But that is because Gmail
So I don't see why I it wouldn't work for your secureserver

If I'm wrong anyone feel free to correct me as I would love to use Gmail through exchange
