a few things stand out to me
1) delta is doubling what they get from american express so clearly it seems that from a financial standpoint the dynamic pricing is not hurting them. While many here were screaming that they are killing the value of their program it does not seem to be the case . 22 percent of amex balances are from a delta card so for whatever reason alot of people are still charging money on their delta card. i guess never underestimate the stupidity of the average consumer.
2) the airline gets a part of the swipe fees i didn't know that do they also get part or all of the af?
3) the last person in the paragraph what a moron they are proud of themselves for switching their restaurant spending to the reserve why not switch all your spending there this way you have added flexibility plus you can always transfer to united miles clearly somebody is clueless
4) i think they meant to say with this
Citigroup wants its customers to be able to transfer American miles to its Prestige credit card, according to people familiar with the matter. American hasn’t historically allowed for that.
is that citi is pushing to be able to transfer thank you points from the premier card to aa miles but aa doesn't want that because then it makes sense to stockpile thank you points more then aa points they probably put in the word to instead of the word from
