Cellphone coverage in the Catskills
« on: July 02, 2019, 01:54:16 AM »
Anyone know how to boost my cellphone coverage in the Catskills?? I have Sprint, it is horrendous, my phone has >zero< coverage in much of the Catskills area. Can't connect to Google Maps etc, nothing! TIA!

Wow! When I was in camp over 10 years ago I remember people saying the same thing I can't believe all these years later nothing has changed.

I remember the guys with sprint were a walking comedy skit, they had to stand on a certain rock and face a certain way and if the it was full moon they might get 1 bar. good times.
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

I'm not sure how that helps me. You're telling me to switch for two months????? I was asking if there is anything available to boost the coverage.

Or if your phone is unlocked, buy yourself a prepaid H2O with 30 days of service for under $15 on Amazon or eBay.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

What service is best in Lakewood (and in Brooklyn)?

AT&T is good in Lakewood. In Brooklyn as well as the rest of NYC all four national carriers are excellent.

Meh. Not all of Lakewood. By me at&t doesn't work at all.
I'm not who you think I am.

I used to work in Brooklyn, out of a basement (one floor down). My Sprint service was not the best. I don't remember how bad but definitely not very good.

What? AT&T has dead spots all over Lakewood! Ever tried your phone/data on Oak street? New Hampshire? Route 9 and first street had been a dead spot for a while..There are plenty of dead spots in Lakewood They've had Towers by me go down twice this year for weeks I was having no to extremely slow data where I live... Recently it's been better but there are still dead spots
