Apparently all four national carriers have problems in pockets of Lakewood.

I hear sprint quality is overall not that great but it has the most coverage in Lakewood. So you get quantity of quality. But I dont have any experience with sprint, just what I heard.
I'm not who you think I am.

Sprint works quite good, while Verizon has even better service supposedly.

In Swan Lake: Verizon & Sprint as good as dead.
AT&T works flawlessly

I find that every town is different, you need to know where you’re being and find out what works best there, (some places none work!)

I have my personal phone with T-mobile and work phone with Verizon. When I'm in the Catskills I just use the Verizon and make it a hotspot for my personal phone.

I'm all over the Catskills when I'm driving up there (I go for business, not staying up there usually). I can't point out on a single place.

Have you tried in Swan Lake?
My experience there with Verizon and Sprint was literally off the grid. (In terms of data, phone calls were so-so.)

So if I'm considering between Verizon, Sprint and AT&t, which one would I go for? Swan Lake area.

Going to put service on a basic flip phone for call and text.
 No need for good internet.

Based on that I'll buy a flip phone and then a service for 15 bucks or so.

Wingalpha(at&t) for $12-$15
Total wireless (Verizon) $33 for a phone and a sim plan.
Tello and twigby(Sprint) both similar plans for $10-$15. And need to buy a phone separately.

If you want service, than At&t no doubt.

Then a guess it's at&t.
What other providers offer decently priced plans that run off at&t?
 For a basic flip phone?

That's great, have 3 to choose from.

  Thanks guys.
 Let's hope At&t doesn't let me down.

I know from the past T-Mobile is the worst! No service at all.
