No
I think it's 30 bucks or something if I'm referred by someone.

I guess I'll see if I can find someone.
 Thanks though.

I believe both H20 and Cricket use AT&T's network

Need for two 16yr olds to use in camp. A basic flip phone with text and talk.

 Either...
Wing
TracFone
H20

Other at&t branch off's are more expensive.

Only question is if I buy for example TracFone will I be able to use it with H2O or wing?

I use Airvoice Wireless with AT&T, the plan is $20/month for unlimited talk and text (you can pay more if you also want data).

My current phone is an AT&T prepaid phone (I just didn't use their SIM) but it's 3G and hasn't been working so great, I am planning to purchase a new one.

Now that i know i want an at&t phone i need to make sure it compatible with at&t, i found this phone from BB and it seems to work on at&t and then i found the same phone from the companies website and they say its for cdma networks, makes sense they have the same phone for two different networks with the same model number? (this isn't exactly a smartphone)

I don't know but maybe! It might also pay to make sense that the phone works with AT&T via 4G. There was a really long post in "revive the flip phone" a few days ago that detailed which phones work with which carriers on 3/4g.

T-mobile will not work for me, i have tmobile now, and it doesn't work point blank in the country(upstate NY).

After looking at all choices seems at&t would make the most sense.

I found a simple flip 4g phone with tracfone from best buy, would cost me for a sim and a phone and plan for the month $40 or so.
Now it seems they are locked devices and it requires a year with them to get the phone unlocked. It would be amazing if i can find or buy an unlock code to allow me to use the phone with which ever carrier i would like to.
I think i'm going to go with that option, unless i can find another phone for 10-30$ range and use h20 or wing or another at&t carrier.

Will also check the other thread to see what phones they say are compatible and work with 4g.

Have any of you guys recently bought for any of your kids or a friend a simple prepaid plan 4g flip phone to use over the summer? what service you guys go with or where you get the phones from?

Ok so that negates any benefit. A tmobile plan could be had from tmobile for cheaper

I bought a bunch of the cricket version of the alcatel go flip 3s for 50 each for tele school. Plan was $10/month with autopay. (It may have gone up)

Cricket uses ATT network although there are reports of it not having quite the same quality of service. Anyone with experience?
