When I was younger to be honest I didn't love shabbos, until I started work and got a family, it is one of the best gifts in my life.
When you get older you will realize any day can be Shabbos.
If the purpose of shabbos is rest, then yes. Rest whenever you are tired.
it's good to be a Lubavitcher
Maybe he create a miracle; Shabbos will come out on Wednesday and Wednesday will be Shabbos!
But the question will always remain "When is next Wednesday".

A better question is when is the next Shabbos?
We actually have (the virtual) equivalent of Shabbos 3 times a day, during Davening.
Now I appreciate it even more, it's the one time a week where I actually have a meal with my wife and kids.
You need to make time other than this one day.
There are many levels to Shabbos. That one is one of the more superficial ones.
That's a completely wonderful thought. I do spend quality time with my wife and children every day. But schedules as they may make it difficult to get the 5 of us at one table at one time. Other than Shabbos.
