anyone have success (or problems) signing up for a miles & smiles membership?

I am using the sign-up link from the main TurkishAirlines page and have had no success. Tried multiple browsers on different days. Either nothing at all happens or a "technical error" pops up.

It took about a month convincing TK there was an issue with their system. They finally agreed to reach out to United and they resolved the issue within a few days.

Soon to book my tickets as there is wide open economy non-stop availability. Just trying to decide on where to start my trip - Maui or Kauai.

Very simple questions, but when transferring Citi TYP to Turkish (trying to book 15,000 Hawaii flights and at the beginning of this crazy convoluted process), do you put the letters TK or just the 9 numbers after it. Don't want to do anything to mess the transfer up. Also, does anyone know if there are any restrictions when transferring or booking with Turkish on United (for instance, Korean wouldn't let me book more than 5 people including myself on Delta, and they all had to be family members and verified beforehand with birth certificates) regarding family members. Thanks!

Just FYI. Reports on FT are that TK cant do partner bookings at the moment.

Why would you transfer before putting something on hold?

Has anyone tried their Turkish number ($0.01/minute w GV)? I called this number few times the past 2 months and was able to get it done (most of the times).

I read some dp that the email from the Boston office is doing it in few hours.
