Heads up everyone, this guy scammed me and at least two others on this forum! He sold me a Southwest gift card that was purchased with a credit card. The credit card holder then claimed the purchase was unauthorized and had Southwest freeze the funds on my gift card and cancel their transaction. The two other DDFers actually purchased their airfare with the credit they bought through HELLOW305 and had the airlines turn around and cancel their flights. DISHONEST person!!

Sorry for your loss, Did you pay with Paypal or Venmo? Was the payment processed in USD or Rubles, I am starting to think it might be @Isma05 back with a different name!! Also he was offering the SW cards at below 70% and he just joined a few days ago, this should have been a red flag.

I have done hundreds of transactions on the forum, both buying and selling, when buying I only deal with members who have been around for a while and are pretty active, been lucky?? , so far no problems.

One guy here who I couldn't verify I paid with PayPal goods and services and he got all upset that he was hit with a fee.... I needed to protect myself.

I understand, but for a legitimate GC seller those 2.99% extra paypal charge might turn a tiny profit to a loss, I guess there is no perfect solution .

Paid with Venmo but didn't realize I could have paid with venmo through a credit card!! I offered to pay with Paypal and also offered to cover the fees and he said no, only Venmo or Zelle. Obviously this guy knew what he was doing. I thought I did my due diligence by asking for references and I actually messaged those two references and heard positive feedback. Alas, the two other DDFers also got scammed and even though they already claimed their airline credit and booked their flights, the airline cancelled their tickets...

And i am doing serious investigation

I feel bad for the guy if i get a hold of him

If he is using Venmo it means he has a linked bank account , correct me if I am wrong, I know Venmo in this case is not much help as it is not intended for buy and sell etc, will filing a police report help?What name is he using on Venmo?

Correct, Venmo hasn't been much help and I'm aware that they are unable to recoup the money for me. His name on Venmo is themiamiboii786 .
