Wouldn't logic dictate that if the registration date or link was known or any update was posted from Amex, it would of been posted all over the place here, and the million other CC blogs?

You can use it anywhere.

you may have to send a SM to get the credit pushed through for this card

Priority-1 (a wonderful organization) just sent out an email asking me to fill out a $25 donation form and they will process it on Nov 24th.

They may be great, but the info on that page about 2 cards with the same number is dead wrong.

What happens when these organizations charge everyone's Amex cards, and then find out that Amex is enforcing it's terms which exclude charities from the promotion?

Or potentially becomes gezeilah from the cardholder, if the cardholder didn't intend to donate without being credited. Either way, it seems a bit disingenuous for a religious organization to actively solicit participation by cardholders in violaition of Amex's terms. (Also potentially gezeilah from Amex. Or would that be geneivah.)

Those terms are for the free ad program, not necessarily SBS.
If anything, we can infer from those terms that there are other types of small businesses that qualify for SBS even though they don't qualify for free ads

depends on how an org is listed.
last year i gave online to my local chabad and i didnt get the credit, though it was charged right away.
others gave but had their cc swiped and they got the cc.

online they have listed as donations
in person swiping is listed as something else - when it was set up it was made for tuition and camp payments so it can be under education or something
