I knew as a given that someone who lives in a place like CLE, most definitely shops at places other than just a Kosher grocery store, but $750 in Kosher grocery items (thinking meat, chicken, and milchigs at the very least) in a year for a family is, well.... I wish I could find such cheap prices...

They had that "limit" last year too.
And you could still register the day before.
I doubt this is a serious limit, probably just something to protect them if things spiral beyond control.
The panic about getting registrations in is amusing, AMEX will not close registration for a couple day at least, they wouldn't want to alienate their customer base, as well as hire another thousand people to handle the storm of SM's.

Even if they don't come on time for registration, they usually show up in your online account before they arrive. And since only the last four digits will differ from the main user,  you will probably still be able to register them in time (as your online account will show the last four digits).

Just speculating...

As per the actual cards arriving, they usually take around a week. Ample time for SBS.
