Up until what time can a vendor charge a card for someone to still get $25 credit? The Restaurant Guy is saying he got confirmation that he can continue charging cards through 8 AM and that Amex confirmed credits will still be issued. Does anyone know if this is correct?

ETA: All cards now confirmed, except the ones that DB electronics had not processed!

I wonder... do the confirmations guarantee the credit is coming? A few articles I've read covering SBS mentioned that only the first 100,000 cardholders will get the credit (it makes sense Amex would cap their promotion at $2.5MM to hedge against it getting out of hand) - their terms also say enrollment is limited.

You wouldn't be able to register your card once registration is full. So yes, an email confirmation means you will be getting the credit.

Ah the enrollment was limited - agreed. Nevermind.
BTW my friend was able to register cards at 11:30 pm ET, purchase at 11:55 and got confirmations.
