I'd take any donation, but I wouldn't solicit people for their SBS $25 the way these organizations are doing.

On topic, anyone hear that the SBS is limited to 200k cards?

The shaila is if you're living here in E"Y and it won't work for online purchases, which leaves tzedaka as the only option available, in this case you wouldn't be able to take it from maaser.

If anyone is in E'Y and wants to get in on the promotion if you can arrange with a grocery in lakewood to call in your cc number and they will give you store credit I would be willing to buy it off you for a percentage.

How does a mosad or congragation check of they are registered as a small business and tht they are eligible?

Its sounds from the above mentioned posts tht if I would take my 20 cards to my local store and swipe all my cards tht o have big chances only to get one single 25 $ credit.  Am I reading right?

nope. each unique 15 digit card number is eligible for it's own $25 credit

Hopefully nobody donates to a bunch of mosdos (on one card) and gets one refund. I can see this happening to someone who isn't too savvy.

Also remember to register all your cards, as you'll only get the $25 credit for the cards that are registered.

It was asked earlier in the thread.  And he wasn't the first to post results...

I dont recall were, but Amex wrote that registration is limited. I think The number was made up by some Org.

it says on the amex site (in the FAQ perhaps) that there is a limit of 200K cards to be registered.  The registration site is still up as of 5 minutes ago because I just registered a new batch of AU cards. 

I'd tell how many I have registered but I make too many typos for that level of abuse...

Thank you.  Just registered an AmEx and a Citi Amex. both worked fine.

Just for the record, the charities that are processing AMEX cards have an additional fee to pay every month as well.  Just as AMEX wants SB to keep on taking their card, they also want the charities to take their cards as well...

Just a thought.

Also, I got this from one the charities (Chabad) that sent me the email which I think is very impt to say:
